Removing Cached Search Engine Results
There are several options available when looking at removing content from Google's search results. If you're willing to wait until the next time the search bot comes around, there are various methods (depending on the situation and content) to instructing the bot to remove/not index your content.

For urgent requests, you can use Google's Webmaster Tools, which will require site ownership verification, to expedite the removal process. This process usually takes 3-5 business days and is explained at the following two locations:

Yahoo
Yahoo also offers two ways to remove content from their search results. The first one involves using source modification (robots.txt protocol) which will prevent certain content from being indexed and removes content already indexed over a period of time. Note that this does require waiting for the Yahoo bot to revisit your page.

Yahoo also offers an expediated process for removing content from their search results, which involves using a Yahoo! Site Explorer account. This process usually takes around 48 hours, and is explained in detail here:

MSN (Microsoft)
Microsoft has not published a formal method for removing content from their search results. However some have had success posting on the Microsoft Live Search Webmaster Forums here:
